![]() In Quake II, players can enjoy another sci-fi single-player campaign against the Strogg, cast in the role of the Marine, Bitterman, a lone survivor of a failed offensive on the Strogg’s home planet. Representing a larger capacity than comparable games, Quake 4 allows up to 16 players at a time in multiplayer mode. Players can discover some other ways to interact with the map to gain an advantage with further options, including bouncing grenades against jump pads and gaining extra height by leaping from the top of ramps and other objects on a slant.
